Attorney at law

Attorney at law

Not size is crucial.
Expertise counts.

I am your personal contact person.
You will find an overview of my person in the following sections.

Education

In the summer of 2004, I completed my studies at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg with a focus on commercial and corporate law with the 1st State Exam in Law and as a diploma in law. This was followed by a traineeship in the Free State of Bavaria with various positions in legal practice and public administration, as well as a stay abroad at the Law School of the University of Sydney, which I completed with the 2nd State Exam in 2006.

Immediately at the beginning of 2007 I was admitted to the bar in Munich.

Subsequently, I obtained my doctorate in a comparative business law topic at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and completed an additional degree in international banking, capital market and insurance law at the University of Zurich.

In the following years, I completed both the specialist law course in international business law and the specialist law course in inheritance law.

Activities

During my professional practice as a lawyer, I have been involved in senior positions in the areas of law and taxation, product development and corporate compliance, as well as M&A in internationally acting companies and financial institutions at home and abroad. This enabled me to gain valuable experience on company-internal processes that, as part of my consulting work, help to simplify the implementation of the legal topics.

At the same time, I am a founding member and managing director of the Institut für Vermoegensstrukturierung (IVS) e.V., based in Berlin. The IVS deals with the structuring of large assets at the interface between civil, tax and supervisory law, taking into account economic aspects. In addition to my scientific commitment, I take executive responsibility here as part of my work on the Board of Management.

In addition, I have been working as a lecturer in business law at the Baden-Württemberg Dual University of Applied Sciences (DHBW) since 2016. In this way, without pursuing my own economic interests, I can contribute to the legal education in the theory and practice of the students and to remain at the “pulse of the times” through the exchange with the young generation.

In addition, I am the author of various specialist trade publications and a lecturer for specialist lectures in order to maintain direct exchanges with professional colleagues.
